There's the business of it all.
So it could be very simple or very complicated.
It's one of the simplest sports in the world, one of the most basic.
You know, people used to fight over, you know, women-sheltered food back in the day, and now we're still doing it, to be honest.
It's at a higher level.
Yeah, I mean, at the very beginning of the sport, it was basically that.
It was Brazilian jiu-jitsu versus karate versus boxing, et cetera.
I was, like, you know, I've only been retired six years, five years or so.

The latter half of my career was, you know, the blending.
Everybody was blending the stuff.
And the common stuff is the mentality.
I mean, the guys that are at the highest level, it's all in the mind.
It's, you know, I joke with some of my guys because, you know, everybody talks about the evolution of the sport and this and that.
Um, but I've got books from, you know, 1890s, early 1900s that are like thick with techniques and jujitsu and, and all this high, high level technique that gets reinvented.
I mean, people have been fucking each other up for a long time, man.
Damn, I didn't know they were talking about this in the 1800s.
