In a red brick building in the town center is the county courthouse.
Inside, a hearing is about to start.
It's a hearing for Jennifer's wrongful death lawsuit against Weldon Boyd and Bradley Williams.

I walk into the Horry County Courthouse with my producer, Heather Rogers.
There's a lot of people coming in.
There's a big line at the security point.
Under South Carolina's Stand Your Ground law, individuals are entitled to total immunity if they can convince a judge they killed in self-defense.
If the judge agrees, the killers can never be criminally charged or sued in civil court.
