I've been dropping interviews between now and local news day with various, um,

editors and publishers and founders of sort of the new independent media that has popped up since the gutting and cratering of local news that, of course, all began with the advent of Craigslist in particular.

The focus today is on a –

a news organization out of Minnesota called the Sahan Journal.

The guest, the publisher is Vannon Murgason.

And what the Sahan Journal is, it is a local independent news source, primarily

Focused and its audience is for the immigrant communities of Minnesota.

So not just the Somali community, but the Hmong community, first generation Hispanic community.

It is an interesting business story.

As well as a sustainability story when it comes.

And it's I think there's a lot to learn.

There's all different types of local news operations out there.

And my goal was to do profiles of sort of the different types of and this is one that is very much.
