When he was asked if Craig grabbed C1's jaw, he said, No.
Instead, he claimed he saw Craig squeeze her cheeks.
and that while Craig was standing up and C1 was kneeling, note that the archival footage demonstrates that Craig never stands, he crouches and C1 kneels, that somehow he lifted her up from the ground around nine inches, almost levitating her.
A description unlike any other, and again, no description of throwing a face to the side.
The female sound technician gave evidence that in the going home scene, Craig McLachlan would grab people's faces.
She recalled the throw, but was not sure who it was, that it was probably to Betty, not C1, but she just knew it was a female cast member.
She also conceded that she had discussed this face throw probably with C1, probably with C3, possibly with C2, and the first understudy before she spoke to the police.
Further to these witnesses, all of them who turned out not to be witnesses, the producer of the Rocky Horror Show, John Frost, took the stand.
Next up was the resident director.
This was her account.
During the performance that evening, there were a number of mishaps that occurred, that Craig's corset was breaking and there was a wardrobe assistant stitching him back up and his mic was cutting out.
And on top of that, he ran late for an entrance and collided backstage in the dark with another cast member.
When she was asked about his demeanour, she said that Craig was... ..flustered and unhappy.
It wasn't as much anger as frustration and upset...
Further to this, the incidents that occurred on stage were included in the show report that evening, along with the medical issues experienced by C1.
When the resident director was asked if there was a scene in the Rocky Horror Show where Craig grabs or holds Janet's face, C1, she said, Yes.
She was then asked that whilst talking to Craig that night, if she had said to him words to the effect of...
you grabbed her face hard.
The resident director had no recollection whatsoever.
Rather, she recalled telling him that he had to apologise and when she was asked what Craig's response was to this, she replied, he said, I'll do that.
