Fast forward a few years to 2016.

Craig and our friend were cast in a TV series called The Wrong Girl.

When the show was renewed for a second season in 2017, their friendship continued and they both agreed that it was the best their friendship had ever been.

She is quoted as saying that, "...it was the happiest period of my working life."

Throughout the series, dozens of text messages were shared between her and Craig.

She sent photos of herself in her bikini as part of one of her location day shoots.

And there were countless messages relating to the comically crude nicknames she had given the two of them, namely Gobbler and Blumpkin.

During this time, the network sent Craig rushes from some of the filming, which is raw footage that was shot during their scenes and, more importantly, material shot in between their scenes.

On July 10, 2017, four months before allegations against Craig McLaughlin were published in the press, C1 and Craig shared more text messages regarding this footage.

And then again on July 16, 2017.

A short time later, George Adams, Craig's great friend, the producer and creator of the Dr Blake Mysteries, tragically lost his beautiful wife and mother to his two children.

It was an extremely difficult and traumatic period for everyone involved in the production.

On August 20, 2017, just three months before allegations were made to the press, C1 reached out to Craig.

Further messages ensued and on September 21, 2017, she wrote this.

Oh my God, we got the dance move in.

It was so funny.

This was a reference to a dance move the two of them had performed whilst doing Grease.

they had snuck it into a scene of The Wrong Girl.

Two months later, on October 18, 2017, The Wrong Girl finished airing and two days after that, the full cast of the 2017-18 Rocky Horror Show was announced in the press.
