This small snippet was shot for the direct purposes of grabbing a moment for a TV commercial made back in January 2014.
In court, archival footage of the actual 2014 production was shown.
An archival DVD is shot during the run of a show to depict a true and accurate version of the show as it is performed nightly.
It becomes a tool for future productions and for future rehearsals.
It's like a blueprint of the show.
Which leads me to ask some crucial questions.
Was there a part of the actual stage show where C1 was directed to have her hands in view of the audience, i.e.
resting on the bed sheet when Craig disappears out of sight?
No, there was not.
There was no part of the bed scene in the Australian production of the Rocky Horror Show in which C1 was directed to have her hands resting on the bed sheet when Craig is out of sight.
But there certainly was in the UK production.
Was there a part of the actual stage show in the bed scene where Craig is crouching down directly in front of her?
No, there was not.
But again, in the UK version, there certainly is a moment where Frank crouched down directly in front of the Janet character.
Was kissing the neck or arm of Janet ever part of this scene, as C1 claimed?
Is there further proof that this was the case?
The archival footage of the show demonstrates there was never kissing on the neck involved in this scene, and this is further backed up by the director, the resident director and the choreographer, who all gave evidence in court as to how the scene ran, which did not include kissing on the neck.
Could this accuser have used this UK clip on which to base her description of the bed scene to journalists, the police and the courts?
