During the Perth season of the Rocky Horror Show, which was early on in the tour,
When dressing rooms were assigned to the cast, it came about that C1 had been allocated a shared dressing room with another principal female actor.
When C1 discovered that C3 had been assigned her own singular dressing room, a nasty confrontation between the two women occurred.
A confrontation that led to the two women not speaking for the remainder of the Rocky Horror Show tour.
A confrontation that led C3 to make a formal complaint against C1.
At the time, two people from senior management from the show told Craig about this feud and indeed they discussed it with me.
They were shocked and horrified at the treatment C3 had received at the hands of C1.
In court, it was not disputed that C3 had been very unhappy in the Rocky Horror Show company, that she confided in Craig about her unhappiness with the cast member known as C1, and that he was kind to her and offered her support on a number of occasions and usually gave her a hug.
As Craig's barrister surmised...
During the season, C1 would go to Craig's dressing room and disparage C3.
This continued until the end of the tour.
This was not denied in court.
Let's go to Craig's evidence.
The following is a re-enactment of Craig's court evidence, collated through court notes and evidence preparation.
And further, when Craig was questioned about the one-second closed-mouth dressing room kiss, his evidence was this.
Mr Littlemore then presented photos of the dressing room that showed the door that was alleged Craig had hid behind.
He asked if it was possible to hide behind that door.
I also gave evidence on this allegation in a civil matter that was not the criminal case.
In my evidence, I recalled the evening that Craig went to see C3 in her dressing room as I was in the theatre with him whilst he was getting ready that night.
I remember that he had his full make-up on and there was only about 10 minutes until the start of the show.
