We realised quickly we had to find someone to assist, and so we called a friend of a friend who was a junior barrister in Melbourne.

A response was drafted and sent to the journalists, which stated in no uncertain terms that the allegations were baseless.

But the big question Craig asked was, who are these people and what details can you provide about these allegations?

The journalists got back to Craig a few days later, adding some more detail and giving him an extension to Sunday to respond.

But still, his accusers remained anonymous.

So, on Sunday, January 7th, with Craig having done two shows of Rocky on the Saturday and facing another two shows back-to-back on the Sunday, Craig responded, again imploring the journalists to reveal who these people were who were making such shocking and false claims against him.

He asked that they refrain from printing anything that was defamatory about him.

We didn't hear back.

The following day, January the 8th, 2018, Craig's questions were answered.

We discovered in the most brutal and underhand way who his accusers were.

The story hit in the biggest showbiz way imaginable.

It appeared on the front page of every newspaper in the country and was followed up that evening with a half-hour special on the ABC's 7.30 report.

The very network Craig had worked for tirelessly and loyally for the past six years.

Craig's accusers and the media's line was that the women were compelled to come forward against Craig in order that they protect the new female cast members of the Rocky Horror Show from his behaviour.

That Craig's star power meant they were unable to be heard at the time of the alleged inappropriate behaviour.

That they were fearful for their jobs and future, hence waiting until now.

that makes us fearful, makes us feel as though our voices won't be heard.

Short enough?

Maybe even just something like, you know, he's a big star, he has clout.

I guess we all felt that his star power and his influence was more valuable and more important than us.
