And we all lived through it.
And again, it's, you know, I always think, oh, that's in the past.
And then I look at the racism and the judgment and the triggers that everybody has now.
Didn't we make any progress at all?
Can't we just accept the myriad of cultures and backgrounds that we all... We all live.
Like, why do we care?
Yeah.
And also, I mean, you know, I look at my history and I had a wonderful opportunity to do that show called Who Do You Think You Are?

Yeah.
So I did it.
And my story could not be any more American than what I found out then.
So it's not like, oh, go back to Africa.
Like, honey, I've been here.
I can trace back to, you know, 1824 when my great, great, great grandfather was here.
My one of my great, great, great grandfathers served as one of the first black troops in the Civil War.
to, you know, my other great-great-grandfather was born a slave but was educated and was the first representative of color in Tennessee.
So it's the tradition and the history lives so deep inside me.
But that's where we are now.
You know, being a real American, take us back to make American great again.
