Prince Harry, his co-founder, and the entire board of trustees resigned from the Sentebale charity last year after a highly public spat with the board's new chair.
At one point, Harry referred to, quote, blatant lies told about him.
Now, the charity, which helps HIV-positive young people in Lesotho and Botswana, has filed suit in Britain's high court, accusing Harry and a fellow trustee of defamation, a claim both men have rejected.
It's just the latest legal headache for the Duke of Sussex, who's awaiting a high court decision on the phone hacking case he and several other celebrities have brought against the male newspapers.

To most Brits, the term orange marmalade is a redundancy.
The marmalade on British breakfast tables is invariably orange-flavored.
Problem is, the term marmalade is a more generic term in Europe.
With the British government close to striking a post-Brexit trade deal with the European Union, well, that cherished marmalade would have to be sold and labeled as, quote, citrus marmalade to conform with EU standards.
Back in the 1970s, Britain was able to win a special dispensation from Brussels to grant British marmalade protected status.
But with the UK now out of the European Union, its bargaining power is approximately zero.

It's been at least 6,000 years since wild bison last roamed what is now Britain.
The Kent Wildlife Trust's Alison Reuter told the BBC the small herd of European bison was introduced to a woodland sanctuary in Kent because the habits of these massive, lumbering animals help restore complex habitats that other bovine species cannot.
With the herd now growing, the Trust is opening so-called bison bridges, ultimately allowing them to roam and reshape 500 acres of English woodland.
