So what I'm getting at is that constituency that the Democratic Party created has matured, and now they are on the other end. They're not necessarily the recipients of the most generous welfare state. They are the payers. They have to pay for it. And they are saying no more. I do not want to pay for this. I can barely make it. Housing is so expensive. Insurance is expensive. Gas is expensive.
