Well, it worked in the same way for us.
Like my husband and I, before we got engaged, we'd already bought a house.
We'd gotten a dog.
Like all of those conversations had happened.
So everything that Jess said, I think is right.
But
Then I feel like there are a lot of engagement questions and stuff that you could be asking as well.
So as I said before, the ring.
For me, that was a really big thing to budget for.
And my husband had ideas and thoughts on the ring that he wanted to incorporate and then things that I liked.
And there was a big conversation beforehand to be like, is it in the budget?
What does that budget look like?
Yeah.
I think that that's really normal these days to have.
Like, yes, it's so whimsy to think he went out and purchased a dream ring.
But I'm telling you right now, my husband made a five-figure purchase on a whim.
I'm pissed.
Yeah, totally fair.
Like, sorry.
Like, let's just make sure that that is the right decision to be making for us.
