So I started working out some figures and thought, I actually really like this area.

I think I'll buy a house.

So I purchased a house.

It was pretty big.

And I had been saving for a long time with that goal in mind.

But then when I moved to Melbourne, I thought, oh, this is like years.

Oh, this is out the window.

And so then I think when I moved back

to like out of Melbourne, I was like, oh, okay, maybe this is like more achievable.

Yes.

Some of it was for a house and some of it was for a car.

I did buy my first car, like myself, and then I had put aside money as well for study because mum and dad had said, if you want to study, like, that's fair enough, but we can't afford to help you do all of that.

We will help you, but...

You need to save some money.

And it was just coincidence that I'd signed up to be at TAFE doing my nursing.

And about three months before I'd started, the government announced, oh my God, we need all these nurses.

It's COVID.

Yeah.

So the TAFE course then became, I don't think it was completely free from Emily, but it was significantly discounted.

Yeah.
