Yeah, but I think placements were really tricky in that obviously we're not getting paid.
So there was a few weeks of the year, like at different stages where I was like, I'm going to earn nothing.
So I really need to work hard to put money aside so that I can still pay my mortgage.
So there was a time where I was paying a little bit extra, but not as much as what I had wanted.
But once uni finished, then sort of thought, okay, well, this is good.
I've got a little bit of extra money now.
And then thought,
oh, God, now I've got this hextech.
So I felt like there was constantly this cloud over me of debt, I suppose you'd say, which in the scheme of things is probably nothing but just to me.
And I think that was definitely something that I probably didn't understand when I started paying more onto it because I was like, oh, I didn't actually know that this was like good debt, I suppose, in that it doesn't affect you down the track.
Yeah, so I probably cut back on my mortgage payments to put extra money towards my HECS debt and then paid that off.
And after I had just not long paid it off, there was a few changes with indexation and that kind of thing.
And so I'm actually waiting for a refund, I suppose you'd say, because it's like in credit at the moment.
So I'm very much looking forward to that.
Yes.
But, yeah, I suppose at the moment just sailing through life, still nursing.
Ideally would want to get out of a shift work nursing like in the next five years.
Just, yeah.
be able to prioritize that and not have to work shift work.
I'm happy to do it for the moment, but I think down the track, I don't really want to do it forever.
