The whole service is 20 pounds.
You need to pay on the 20 pounds.
And so in London, that's why it's probably, you know, there's less drivers.
It's more expensive because Uber has to pay on the full 20.
Outside of London, they managed to get away with it.
So they're only paying on the Uber fee portion, that VAT amount.
So it's been a short-term impact.
But yeah, I don't know.
I just think Uber, the way that they think about
The long term, it's very different to a lot of businesses and a lot of CEOs that are very short term focused.
Like this business, they just want to be the super app that everyone uses for their lives.
Imagine if you could do it on an Uber.
I remember reading something about Uber and it was like, psychologically, when you can see, for customer service, when you can see the car coming and you can see it's four minutes, five minutes away,
even if it was 20 minutes and you could see the car, you are way less or way more satisfied as a customer than say a taxi company and having no visibility.
And that taxi company could, all their rides could come in one minute, but because you don't see that, like there's psychologically seeing a countdown or seeing, you know, having that control is like, there's a lot in terms of, yeah, like customer psychology.
But yeah, I honestly reckon anything, it'll be, I mean-
To be honest, Airbnb, I would be threatened if I was Airbnb.
I'd be quite scared.
And also with an app, if people get comfortable using it, the options are endless, you know?
