Have y'all heard about that CIA program during Vietnam where they would steal enemy ammunition, fly it back to the States, remanufacture that exact same ammunition with powder that looked exactly the same but would detonate?

remanufacture it, ship it back to Vietnam, and put it back exactly where they had found it in a short enough amount of time.

I think the turnaround was like less than 72 hours.

Good Lord.

But they would do that, and they wouldn't do all of them.

They would just do some out of that stack of ammunition, whatever ammunition they found, so that it would intermittently make guns and other things explode.

That is the more explody version to the Soviets in Afghanistan with because they trade ammo with the locals.

They boil their ammo for about four to five hours first.

I don't know if it really did it, but the intention was to ruin the primers and the powder.

So that they just give, you know, hopefully at that point be trading way duds, but the explosions are more funny.

He went and took a shot, and the screw stripped out, and the scope just went boop right in the head.
