And now you've got, and he said, regime change was not our goal.

We were not out there to try and change the regime.

We were out there to stop the threat.

But the regime effectively has changed because we've killed everybody at the top.

There's a bunch of new people coming up.

And those new people, if you're ready to work with us, we're ready to work with you.

And if you're not, maybe you meet the fate of the old team.

So these are your options.

Choose wisely.

And then finally, he had a message for the American people and people who are concerned about this conflict and where it goes next.

He said, I just need everybody to keep everything in perspective.

He used the word perspective last night, which was, I thought, pretty useful.
