If you're going to be wrong, you want to be wrong because you have assessed that they had additional capability and then you had to use additional assets to be able to confirm or deny whether or not they have it.
What you don't want to do is say, hey, we have enough information right now to believe that that nuclear fissile material is gone and then find out that you were wrong.
Hezbollah is the most effective proxy for Iran.
They fund and train and equip Hezbollah for a lot of things that they've done.
So the fact that they're willing to come to the table does say a lot, but it will play a huge part in how Iran actually views this as part of that discussion.
The missile side of the house is missile production, not being able to keep those in.
Money is actually part of it being saying they can't fund, they can't continue to fund their proxies and then monitoring for the nuclear side of the house.
I think he's looking at it in terms of who he is actually dealing with, right?
I mean, I don't think at this point in time he's dealing with some of the remaining IRGC leadership.
He's dealing more on the presidential side, and I think that's the reason why he's looking at it that way.
He would
is also looking for how much influence is being exerted by the president versus the Ayatollah regime portion of it.
And I think he's hoping that there's actually going to be a shift.
I haven't seen the evidence to that yet, but obviously he has a lot more assets than I do.
The military is not going to stop unless it's asked to stop, right?
I think that's key.
Iran's also not going to stop.
We saw that in the Iran-Israel 12-day war as well.
They even shot at each other even after the ceasefire a couple of times and just some skirmishes.
So until things are actually signed, you're going to see continued strikes and continued military operations.
