The food portion of the segment this week, we stopped at one of the places we stopped at to eat dinner was a local Greek place.
And if you've been to Greek places, you know that they usually also have Italian stuff on the menu.
And this is a and this caught my eye and I had tried a chicken Amalfi and it was their particular take on it.
which looking at recipes online, because it was tasty enough that, yeah, I got to figure out how to make this.
Most of the recipes online don't really have a sauce or anything like that and are just talking about cooking the chicken.
But this place, their dish was basically, it was breast of chicken, grilled breast chicken over bacon.
A fairly thin spaghetti with a sauce that is best described as take an Alfredo sauce and instead of the cheese that you'd normally use for an Alfredo sauce, use goat cheese and throw in some sun-dried tomatoes.
Yeah, and I think that's how they cooked the chicken itself, but then they threw that sauce on top of it and-
Yeah.
It sounds delicious.
I need to figure out, yeah, that goat cheese and butter sauce.
I need to figure out how to make that, because it was delicious.
That place was good enough that my co-worker and I, the next night, we're just like,
And you jerk, you're talking about that stuff.
Well, there's enough winter stuff going on outside that I don't really want to go to the store today.
Well, you wouldn't want to go to the store anyway.
Well, I do feel bad for my coworker because he just got back from visiting his fiance in Calgary.
At least he didn't have to leave the country.
Well, there's that.
But so and he was there for like a month.
