In other words, insurance companies now are taking a bigger chunk than what the drug makers are making because they have this thing called a pharmacy benefit manager that's a huge middleman that they own. And three big insurance companies, including Cigna, where I work, control 80% of the prescription market. It's an incredible scam.

And that's another reason why I spend so much time in Washington is to educate the lawmakers. This is what's going on, guys. You need to do something. You need to pay attention. Break these guys up. So that would be one thing that I would say right off the bat that we need to do is break up these big, giant conglomerates.

Folks at the lower levels of these companies are so far removed from an understanding of how the companies operate that they just don't have that kind of visibility or awareness. But I can assure you, the executives damn well do know what's going on.
