We've been going from, what was it, from mainframes to minis to PCs to cloud to whatever.
Everything required a new approach to building or enable this to do new things.

Before cloud, you may have only had one colo and never would be able to build a replicated database.
But then cloud gamers suddenly could replicate your database.
You need to learn that, how to do that.
