So it's not that they're against renewables, quite the opposite.

I think they're making a sound case for the energy transition, not least because I think for a lot of the workers who hear the language of a just transition and jobs of the future, what a lot of those oil and gas workers hear is, oh right, you mean jobs for someone else somewhere else.

And that can't be where we end up.

And I think the same is true of the AI revolution, by the way.

And I think it's going to be one of the big issues of our time and actually why labour and the cause of labour with a big L and a small l, it was necessary for the first and second industrial revolution.

It is definitely necessary now with the AI revolution, with the clean power revolution.

Well, I suppose it makes a nice change for a man in politics to be accused of being hysterical.

So I've taken one for the team there to tackle some of the sexism.

At some point, it might be a charge levelled at a heterosexual man as well.
