Why do we think he's put himself forward to be MP for Makerfield?
It's not because he's got some all-party parliamentary groups he wants to chair.
Surely he just wants to represent Makerfield in Parliament, doesn't he?
Of course he does.
But look, this is one of the bizarre features of the by-election in many respects, which is unique in British history.
There I was knocking on doors in Makerfield.
Wow.
And I'll be back again campaigning for Andy.
I've got no truck for some of these Labour MPs.
Apparently, I saw it reported, they've seen him on Question Time.
And some Starmer loyalists are now saying, well, that's it.
I was going to go to Makerfield, but I'm not now.

Did you not realise until Question Time that Andy Burnham wanted to be Prime Minister?

You said the PLP were great.
Of course he does.
And that's... Well, I think, to be fair, the overwhelming majority of Labour MPs have been and will be in Makerfield.
Whether they are going to support Andy, whether they support Keir...
