I think God is looking at that like, listen, I know your heart and you're doing the right thing. I would say evolution gets you part of the way. What I would say is that your evolutionary inclination to be moral only scratches the surface of the euphoria you can experience when you lean into the will of God or being a good person. In other words, just not killing doesn't make me feel good. I've not killed my whole life. helping my neighbor for no other reason than to just help him.
