Here's the thing.

People are always like, oh, when they find out I'm from Alabama, oh, I've been to Alabama or I've been to the South.

I fucking hate it.

There's nothing to do, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Or they're like, oh, yeah, no, I've been to Alabama.

I've been to Birmingham or Montgomery or Mobile.

And I'm just like, then you haven't been to the South.

Here's the thing.

People always complain about the South.

Oh, there's nothing to do.

It's boring.

It's shitty, blah, blah, blah, whatever.

If you know people, then, okay, you know who's having the good field party tonight.

You know where to go for the best fishing or the best hunting.

You know what to go do to be entertained.

If you're just visiting, don't waste your time.

Because all you're going to get is either the big cities that we don't really count or you're going to be bored off your ass in a hotel room with all the restaurants closing at 8 o'clock at night.

So if you don't know people, you're not going to find the good dirt roads.

Oh, it's real.

And you don't go mud riding in an enclosed cab.
