As I said, it's been 51 years of picking up bits and pieces.
Like me, the 10,000 square foot museum here and it's full.
But the costing of running it has gone through the roof.
Staff, you just can't afford to have staff because of the cost of minimum wages.
I haven't had a wage since Covid.
And people look at you and they kind of go, what?
And I said, no, no, I haven't had a week since COVID.
And I was only paying myself β¬250 a week before COVID.
And that's why I could do that.
But if I had owed the money to the banks, well, we'd have been gone seven years ago, six years ago.
So we're just going to have the last hurrah and run it this summer.
And just we'll have the crack with the lads and the re-enactors and the public.
And when the kids go back to school, that'll be it.
Listen, I would love to keep it going, but the reality is, listen, I became a granddad there last month.
I have a christen on tomorrow.
