But, um, if I, my, my budget or my, my credit card genuinely just could not continue to fund me never being happy with what I've got.
And I, I genuinely made like a really big change a couple of years ago.
Like, all right, I, I,
am not buying stuff unless I have a genuine need for it.
And that's where the Glock 17 came from.
Like, did I have a genuine need?
No, but I had a genuine want.
And so I bought it.
Well, this, the reason I was able to buy it is because the, the change that I made a couple of years ago took me from being in a bunch of debt to having a surplus savings account.
So instead of putting it on debt, I was paying for the Glock with money I already had, if that makes sense.
And that's a big difference.
And that's the best way to do it, to be fair.
Yeah.
Now I basically live on my credit card, but I pay it off every month and I live within the budget.
I was not.
I learned very, very hard lessons in my early adulthood with credit cards.
And then for the next 15 or so years, I avoided credit cards like the plague.
It wasn't until we moved back here that I started to think maybe I should have one.
Tried to get the Cabela's card when I worked there.
Didn't have any...
