To me, the game turned when Queensland started to dominate through the middle during Tino's second stint.

It felt like having so much flexibility on the bench with multiple options actually caused indecision.

It felt like Laurie wanted to keep his options open late in the game with Appy and Strange, so he was forced to push his starting middles into much longer stints.

If we were still operating under the four-man bench, he would have been forced to rotate through the big men through the middle.

Ironically, having more bench options seems to have broken the rhythm of our forward rotation.
