Yeah, he was super gangster.
He was really upfront.
Everybody respected him too.
So, you know, just having that as like a backbone, you know, that was good.
That's awesome.
Yeah, that's great for a young man.
getting signed with warner in 2009 okay so i dropped my first mixtape um i think i was like 16 years old in high school so i'm selling the mixtape in school like physically pressing them up and selling it and i had a kids these days will never understand never they don't even know they don't know about burning those cds they they won't have to burn a cd for what they go on tiktok
There's no CDs to burn anyway.
It's crazy.
It's just all in the air.
So I'm selling my CD.
I'm going to different stores.
And I was a really a real hustler to the point where I would show up and drop off 10, 20, 50 CDs and go collect the money as well the next week.
People see me around the city and they really respected what I was doing and the people who I was working with at the time as well.
And it just kept building up, building up, building up till I was about 19.
And then I got a record deal with Warner Brothers, but it was for a single.
It wasn't for an album.
