Those are the points that take the most energy to do.
So, you do all of this stuff to get up one single point and then you see the last few possessions the energy isn't there, right.
That's the thing when you're down eight and you put everybody on your back and you're 22 years old and you've never done this before and you were playing 20 minutes a game when you come back from injury now you playing 40 playoff minutes.
You know, like it's amazing to get back into it but again,
You know, you see at the end of the game, and this is where I think the Knicks are just different from the Thunder in a lot of ways.
It's like OG and Bridges and their size on these dig-ins and their size in the passing lanes.
And they're not just that, their anticipation and just defensive IQ is on another level.
If Wemby thinks he's just going to be allowed to put the ball on the floor all series long, starting from 29 feet out,
That's not ideal offense, man.
Yeah, he's not making his little baby...
high paint shots his floaters is not going down here's the paradox for San Antonio is that having the three elite ball handlers is extremely key to what they do but at the same time is like Fox being the third of those guys he becomes an extravagance at his salary
Right?
Now we're doing roster construction because you're right.
No, I'm just saying.
I'm just saying.
I'm just saying, like, it's amazing because they're in the finals because of this three-headed monster at guard where they just have elite guys that can drive closeouts, that can run pick and roll, that can beat a mismatch on a switch off the dribble.
Like, that stuff is amazing.
But Fox isn't always...
playing at an all-star level at that job of just destroying switches, of beating guys one-on-one, or even just eating off of the incredible gravity that Wimpy provides.
And so tonight, I think, was an especially bad game.
