Para Ordnance, yes.
I knew his ordinance was in there somewhere.
Yeah, Para Ord had the, you know, made the first, they made them as kits.
You essentially could buy a double stack frame from them.
Was it a P14?
The P14, I believe, was the first one that they did.
So that was a standard GI frame, and it was called the P14 because it held 14 plus 1 of 45 ACP.
And I think it was like the P18 was the 9-millimeter version.
Yeah.
et cetera, et cetera.
But they not only built them for competition, but also like, especially towards the end, you know, before they got bought out by Ruger, where they kind of stagnated, there wasn't really any new para or developments after the, after that, they really just seized their assets and, and their infrastructure.
Cause I know, uh, oddballs, uh, R 51 was, was made in the para ordinance factory, uh,
But the but yeah, they but they had guns with lightweight frames and shorter barrels designed for concealed carry as well as for competition use.
And you're not seeing a ton of that.
You're not seeing many guns that are coming in under 30 ounces.
You aren't seeing, you know, many guns that are that have, you know.
shoot, you know, four inch, you know, four, four inch, four and a quarter inch barrels.
Um, and that's, that's what I would love to see.
I would love to see.
And, you know, and, and to make that and hopefully keep it affordable.
