And they'll pull the trigger.
They're like, what?
I'm like, go ahead.
Cock it and cock the hammer and do it again.
And they'll dry fire it a few times because they'll just be like, what is the sorcery?
I'd go 357 SIG.
Those little bullets do have a lack of versatility.
It is.
I hadn't before, but I can now.
Be still my heart.
I mean, .357, like we said, .357 SIG is one of those calibers that is underutilized for carbines because, yeah, that and 10 millimeter both really, really can bring some heat.
Yeah, it's straight blowback.
Straight blowback, yeah.
Probably.
Well, it's also heavier bullets, so it would have more recoil, and so therefore more recoil impulse on the bolt.
Well, there's also that.
There's also that.
Well, yeah, that's what I'm saying is a lot of these weren't popular because of parts breakage, but now you can make parts so much tougher.
But also, as you said, make one that is the form factor of it, but hide modern double action components inside there.
uh replicas of uh the historic ones but but come on we we can we can do that with modern cartridges we again modern metallurgy like you we can make it stronger i'm sure there's i'm sure actually just modern machining we could probably make latches precise enough that they will lock up tight enough that that that they will hold up to recoil as well
