If there's somebody I would trust, it would be Manny.

But it just puts both of them under such a microscope that every little decision, lineup changes, ice time allocation will be scrutinized.

If I'm Manny, I wouldn't want my kid either in the first.

Maybe if he played four years, established himself, legitimate top six center, boom, let's do this because we're both adults, we're both professionals.

But he has to come in and prove himself along with half another team next year that has to prove themselves.

it looking like you're playing favorites um great uh coot that's coming as well like he would be competing with him like like how do you pick if they're close here um so just like it creates a very sticky situation that that i would not want to be in on either the player side or the coach side here so so that's definitely something to consider and then yeah you might lose out on

on one or the other but but it's it's one of those ones like i know in winnipeg they did it a couple years ago but but lowry was was established but now i'm hearing or seeing the the comments coming out like you would have never made him a captain while he would have been the coach kind of thing so it's like it is hard to do and you gotta gotta be careful with uh when there's families involved and it's not just like coach it's also like higher up in management as well when there is something involved there
