12 or 14 when there's a certain area where you can't protest, even though I wasn't protesting.
And also in Aston Villa, where they said to me halfway through my journalism, you are to disperse the entire Birmingham area at like 8 o'clock at night.
And I said, look,
That condition is only given to people who have disturbed the peace.
I have not disturbed the King's peace at all.
I am not going to leave because I believe that you've given me this section for no reason.
I think that was the only real case where that arrest came from me protesting the police's actions.
And in all three examples, I would say that the police have been quite amicable.
They've been quite nice.
And that's because...
You know, I feel sorry for the police.
They didn't go and join the force because they were like the protesting police.
They didn't want to like permanently be at protests dealing with kids.
I'm assuming if you join the police force, it's because you want to deal with rapist murderers and scumbags, not 17 year olds with a phone filming a protest.
So they treat me quite anecdotally.

um to book me in um at the time for for the 24 hours that they could detain me so it's like a logistical issue so it's like he hasn't really done anything wrong we'll just let him go it has benefited me i will say as soon as i turn 18 if the police are annoyed at me in any way whatsoever they'll definitely do some two-tier policing and i'll probably be in more serious trouble
