He's having two picks in the top five.
Yeah, I would agree.
Yeah, like I think the process of getting both of them and making sure that you manipulate the draft in a way to get both of them is more inherently complicated than just drafting Caleb Malhotra.
I think it's a really good question because there are interesting dynamics with both of these.
I do think it would be, in general, just a bigger challenge than drafting Caleb.
But I'm also in the camp that I think the Caleb-Manny stuff might be a little overblown.
So maybe that plays into it a little bit.
Yeah, the next one was from Kevin.
How realistic is it for the Rucks to play together?
Could the Canucks do it?
Yeah, I don't know if I would force it just to go like just to look at that trade in terms of value.
I do.
I think it depends on what you think the draft class is going to look like next year, because essentially that 2027 third is going to be.
almost a second round pick and if you if you look at the players past 35th overall this year compared to next year do you think next year is better i don't know um but that being said i'm probably a little more comfortable trading down to seven um and then you know getting 25th and 38th i i think that is like what the canucks need right now yes is quality but also a lot of
They got to take a lot of throws.
Yeah.
I would do it.
But I wouldn't do it just to be like, oh, I got to go get the runs.
i feel like i i feel like the the thought behind the question is like another team would give up on so like let's say would the canucks give up on vlander probably not probably not no so but is there a player that we're talking about them giving up on that they should actually keep because that player could work out so like uh lander or not too raw too tight player i would i wouldn't go neil's hoaglander
You can make the argument Drew O'Connor is that guy too, to an extent.
