The Spurs are in this series plus 21 in 125 minutes with Wemby on the floor.

and minus 38 in 29 minutes with Wemby on the bench.

And when you dig into what's happening, it's just everything is happening.

The Spurs don't get to the line without him.

Oklahoma City's offensive rebounding rate skyrockets.

The Spurs' turnover rate reaches uncomfortable proportions.

And that's the thing with these –

With Fox laboring a little bit and Harper laboring a little bit, just the margin for turnovers against... I think the Spurs have committed 23 more turnovers than Oklahoma City in three games.

That is untenable.

You can't beat the Thunder that way, even with Victor Wembanyama on the floor.

But I think they need to load up those Wembanyama minutes.

I don't want to see them play a single second with him out.

And two of the three guards also resting on the bench.

I just think it's too much heavy lifting for whoever the guard left over is, assuming all three of them can play.

The thing that I am watching, and I think the most interesting stat of the series, is 72% of Wemba Nyama's shots came in the restricted area in Game 1.

In game two, 31%.

In game three, 29%.

And that is why the Thunder decided we are scrapping this, we're guarding Wemby with wings thing, which they did mostly in the regular season and they do to switch pick and rolls.

Because it doesn't matter if you can switch pick and rolls if the guys on him are so small compared to him that you can just throw the ball up.
