Normie Rowe AM was Australia’s undisputed FIRST KING OF POP back in the 1960s. He was the first Australian artist to EVER have two TOP 3 singles simultaneously for three consecutive weeks. Normie Rowe & The Playboys supported Roy Orbison in the US, represented Australia alongside The Seekers at Expo 67 in Montreal, and lay claim to the biggest selling Australian single of the 1960s with Que Sera Sera. Today’s interview is not all about music though, because behind the glitz of the glamour of being a rock star, Normie has experienced more than fair share of hardships.
