Rebecca Babcock: How to Turn Your Rock Bottom Into a Springboard for Success
31 Oct 2022
Rebecca Babcock had her entire colon removed in emergency surgery when she was 38. After surviving 5 surgeries in less than 2.5 years, she took a good hard look at her life and career and realized that she didn't want to exist - she wanted to live. That began the second leg of Rebecca's journey towards authenticity and fulfilment. Your rock bottom is only as low as you want it to be. You can always choose to make your situation better, no matter how bad it may seem. The first step is becoming aware of what you care about and what would make you truly happy. From there, you can begin taking action steps towards making your dreams a reality. Never give up on yourself! The biggest challenge for new entrepreneurs is not understanding the scope of what they're getting into. They need to be clear about their goals and objectives and have a well-informed idea of what they're pursuing rather than just running away from something. Keep your paycheck and health insurance until you're confident in your decision to become an entrepreneur. Rebecca shares how she views playing all out, making decisions about time usage, and more in this talk.
