Xometry was founded in 2014 and has experienced rapid growth due to the company's emphasis on customer service, manufacturing expertise, and a revolutionary instant quoting platform. In 2018, Xometry acquired MakeTime, another leader in the manufacturing-on-demand industry, and now the two companies combined have the largest partner network in the industry. In January 2019, Xometry launched Xometry Supplies with the goal of simplifying the custom manufacturing supply chain and ensuring we are best serving our customer base. To support this new business venture Xometry acquired Machine Tool & Supply of Jackson, TN.
