Over 10 years ago, Monica Marquez was instrumental in creating the Goldman Sachs Returnship® program, the first formal return to work internship program. At that time, as a member of Goldman's “Experienced Hire Diversity Recruiting Team," Monica recognized the need to bring talented employees back to the workforce, but found that resume gaps were a hurdle to hiring managers. In this podcast, you’ll hear how Monica designed a program that would not only change the mindset of hiring managers but would become a template for mid-career internships on Wall Street and beyond. Hear how Monica, now Global Head of Community Advisory at Google, is shaping the professional internship culture in technology.
