Five Things was so fortunate to sit down for an amazing reflection on 40 plus years of nursing wisdom as Kerrie closes this professional chapter of her life and leaves an amazing legacy as she retires on the day that this podcast drops. Thank you to Kerrie for the inspiration and for sharing the story of the skin. The skin is the largest organ, check it every day. The skin tells us a story, and like any good story it has layers. The skin is everybody’s responsibility, including the patient & family, educate and recruit. Wounds aren’t as scary, even the scary ones. The skin and tissue integrity is a (multidisciplinary) team game.
