MyHuddle CEO & Co-Founder Christina Vandenberg discusses the current state of mental health in sports, and why she created MyHuddle to support student athletes’ overall well being. Christina shares her D1 soccer experience where she deals with the dynamic of transition and identity issues. These experiences motivated her to work hard in the dark, which allowed her to earn breakout player of the year her junior year at Harvard university. Through her own experiences as an athlete and the current state of mental health, Christina is inspired by the belief that mental health should be treated like physical health, and that mental skill training should be accessible to high school and collegiate athlete by using technology.
