When the Yoo family finally gets all of their members to America, their patriarch Pak begins a business in which he owns a hyperbolic chamber that is used to allegedly help heal children with autism and other afflictions called the Miracle Creek Submarine. However, one day when the sub goes for one of its "dives", a horrific accident happens in which it explodes leaving a child and another child's murder dead. Was it an accident though? Was it a mom who said she wished her son was dead? Was it protesters against this non-proven medical technique? Or was it the Yoo family themselves looking for insurance money? Hannah Randolph joins us today as we go through the mystery that is unraveled through the court process in Angie Kim's Miracle CreekThanks for listening!Resources for Today's Show:Miracle Creek by Angie KimA Deadman's Books theme song: Surfing! by automaticbananas#booktube #booktok #bookstagram #ReadersofYouTube #Bookish #CurrentlyReading #BookCommunity #BookRecommendations #BookReview #BookLovers #Lit #Literature #mystery #murdermystery #AngieKim Hosted on Acast.
