Nigel's guest today is Limahl, lead singer of 80s pop icons Kajagoogoo and one of the most recognisable faces - and hairdos - of the 1980s. Limahl blasted into the spotlight of fame with the band’s first hit single, the chart-topping Too Shy and subsequent singles and a hit album White Feathers followed. But Limahl was suddenly and surprisingly fired from the band leaving him to go solo – which he successfully did with hits like Only For Love and the legendary Never Ending Story. Limahl is a gay man, still performs far and wide and has new music ready to share.This series is a celebration of a beautiful queer community; people of all ages, people who have had to tread their own path to live their real truth, who have fought with their emotions and emerged victorious, who inspire, who aspire and always entertain.
