The first time I met Sirine Fodstad was when we where both going to speak at a global HR conference. She was the host and I was speaking. At the speakers dinner the day before, we ended up next to each other, and since then we have developed a great friendship. Serine is a true people person with International background with 17 years abroad in 7 different countries, she has been global HR Director in the central bank of Norway and CEO in Grieg group. Today she is one of the few selected female partners in BCG, leading their people and organisation practise. We talk about our OCDs, our burning passion to create value for our people, the difference of leading with head, hands and hearts, the big need to train leaders more in social skills and how efforts to include often ends up being excluding. We continue on talking about how we need to stop excusing ourselves, lets not wait for more data to do good, why she finds me and people who just see problems annoying, the shitty average and why its important to act with the end in mind. Thank you all so much for listening and for your contribution to create a more thriving world for all of us!
