If you surf YouTube, chances are you might have stumbled upon "Reaction Channels". For the uninitiated, Reaction Channels are a rage in the social media circuit and often generate good viewership. Simply put, a Reaction Channel is nothing but a content creator's opinion, and reaction thereof, on the content they watch. It could be a movie trailer, Cricketing moment or a political situation, there are tons of content creators generating terabytes of footage reacting to content. Pakistan content creators on YouTube have a massive repository of content, to react on, thanks to Indian entertainment and Cricket. Suffice to say Indian entertainment reactions comprise almost 70% of the total reactions, while some focus on news, politics and other serious issues. In a geopolitically sensitive region, there's never a dearth of topics to discuss about. So in this experience, I share a neutral observation about Pakistani content creators on YouTube, on what they're getting right, and where they miss the mark.
