With a background as a school teacher and yoga instructor, she's also a mother of 2, campfire enthusiast, chook lover, aspiring mermaid, gardener, tree climber, and storyteller.Since she can remember, Schandra has nurtured a deep curiosity for the wonders of the natural world. After more than a decade in teaching, she embarked on a journey to create a space where children can flourish free of limitations, walls, and prescribed notions of learning. She founded Acacia Bush Pods ~ Nature School in 2021, driven by her passion to foster nature connection for children, parents, and educators alike.
