Una quindicina di chilometri più a sud di Domodossola si trova Vogogna, borgo medievale inserito nel circuito de “I borghi più belli d’Italia”. Un luogo immerso nel verde del Parco Nazionale della Val Grande dove sembra che il tempo si sia fermato e che ancora oggi conserva il suo fascino medievale. Case in pietra ricoperte da tetti di beole, strade lastricate e un suggestivo castello a dominare l’abitato. Saliti in cima alla torre semicircolare del castello siamo rimasti affascinati dalla splendida panoramica sui tetti in pietra e sulle verdi montagne che lo circondano.
