Subito dopo aver oltrepassato Porta Sant’Agata ci siamo imbattuti nel Mercato di Ballarò, il più antico tra i mercati palermitani. Principalmente alimentare anche se passeggiando tra le bancarelle ci abbiamo trovato di tutto. Ci siamo divertiti ad ascoltare le famose abbanniate, cioè i chiassosi richiami dei venditori che, con il loro caratteristico accento locale, cercano di attirare l’attenzione del passante. La Palermo più autentica l’abbiamo trovata qui. Un’esplosione di vita, vivacità e colori assolutamente imperdibile tra le cose da vedere a Palermo.
