Making accounting popular again

Self-proclaimed hype girl for accounting apps and thought leadership finalist at this year's Australian Accounting awards Heather Smith joins host Katarina Taurian on this week's episode of Accountants daily insider.    Heather shares her definition of thought leadership, why she lives by the saying "my practice lives in my handbag" and change for the next generation coming through the ranks. The pair also discuss the image of the accounting profession, why it is no longer appealing to students and the quality and relevance of what is being taught in schools and tertiary environments.
